#16 Joseph McMinn
July 20, 1829 – May 25, 1865
This is the grave of Joseph McMinn, one of three veterans of the War of 1812 who are interred in this cemetery. Called “The Second American Revolution,” the War was fought against the British over trade and the imprisonment of American seamen. The White House was burned during this war.
