#5 Elijah T. Farmer
August 1, 1832 – October 20, 1885
Everyone knows about Farmers Lane that runs from Sonoma Highway down past the Lucky store on the east side of town. This is the Farmer family plot. The Farmers were a family that came to Santa Rosa in the 1860’s and owned extensive land on that side of town. Elijah T. Farmer held the offices of City and County treasurer and was a founder of the Santa Rosa Water Works, The Woolen Mill and the city’s first bank.
