#22 Manville Doyle

January 19, 1831 – August 21, 1916

This is the gravesite of another prominent businessman, Manville Doyle, and his family. Doyle was a founder of the Exchange Bank. His son, Frank, became the bank’s president and was well-known as the “Father of the Golden Gate Bridge.” Doyle Park is named for the family, as well as Doyle scholarships that are given to students entering Santa Rosa Junior College each year as part of the endowment from this benefactor.
